This is the projectionists desk. In this photograph it looks like a right mess, but it was the last day, so everything got quite hectic.

Hanging on the coat hooks are a very old set of overalls (which seemed to have a decades worth of perspiration entwined in its fabric) and the blue kevlar suit and face mask. This suit and mask were to be worn when changing the xenon lamps in the projectors. The xenon lamps were highly pressurised and any accidental drop would result in an explosion of glass.

Ladder. On the left of the photograph you can just see the ladder that leads up to projection room 1 and the popcorn loft. You can also get a good view of the projector in projection room 2 from up there.

Power Bench. Directly opposite this desk is the power bench where the films were made up.

Corridor. By turning to your right you will be looking along the corridor towards the office and the kitchen.
