This is the view from the gents lavatory into the projection room for screen 3. As you can see, the new paint scheme never really got off the ground down here. Instead, there were numerous patches of different coloured paints on the walls. This 'expressionist' decor was applied by bored projectionists over the years.

This area is also the route to the bottom of the light well which lies between the cinema building and the Theatre Royal.

Projection Room 3. If you head into the room and turn to the left, you will see the projector for screen 3.

Light Well. If you turn to your right you will be looking out into the light well.

Stairs. Behind you is the gents lavatory. Through here you can make your way back out onto the stairs which lead back to the foyer and screen 3. You can also get to the Syrup Room.
