The Egg is where it's at! Looks like the Theatre Royal's website for their youth theatre project, The Egg, is making a good job of providing photographic updates of the ex-cinema building.. Click on the title of this update to get to the photos on The Egg's website, starting with the photos from October 2004.. At the time of this update, the site has photo updates for October and December 2004, and then January, March and April 2005. Updated: 8th April 2005

Get That Muck Off Your Face! Looks like the builders have been having fun with their hoses. Updated: 8th November 2004

The Heart Beats On... (in a way). This is a link to Burnham-On-Sea.com which has an article about the Ritz cinema re-opening in the town. It is this cinema that is now using the projection equipment and other bits and bobs from the Robins Cinema in Bath. Updated: 8th October 2004

Green Netting. One more photo has been added, and it shows little more than the previous scaffold based photos. The building has now been wrapped in green netting and you can see that the entire interior has gone. Can these photos get any more exciting? Updated: 6th October 2004

Downloadable Fun! Are you bored to tears? Well you soon will be when you opt to download this excruciating puzzle experience. Simply right-click on the 'Downloadable Fun!' title and select Save Target As... Save the file to a suitable place on your computer (My Documents is a good place). When the file is downloaded (it is only a 338kb file, so won't take long), simply double click the file that you have saved (it will be named 'RobinsPuzzle') and the puzzle fun should begin. As far as I am aware, it is only compatible with Windows. To uninstall it when you have had enough (won't be long I can tell you) all you have to do is delete it! Simple as that. Maximum Scaffold Action. Three more photos have been added which show almost nothing but scaffolding. A real must for scaffold fans. It is definitely a sign that the Theatre Royal are going full steam ahead with their Egg project. Updated: 14th August 2004

A Builder's Eye View. Five photographs of the interior of what used to be screen 2. These photographs were obtained after winning favour with a group of workmen that were eating their dinner in the ex-foyer area. So, thanks are in order to the friendly workmen for letting me in for a look, but I was unable to view the rest of the building because it was apparently unsafe to wander about in! Updated: 8th July 2004

Photo update. Two photographs that show the current state of the ex-cinema building have been added to the site. The Theatre Royal have started to get things moving it seems. There is also one new photograph added to The Past section of the site. It shows an old poster which has been revealed by the Theatre Royal's renovation. Updated: 25th June 2004

3-D photographs! I have added a couple of 3-D photographs to the website. One is of the cinema foyer, and the other is of the back of the projector in projection room 2. To view these 'astounding' images, you will need a pair of 3-D glasses. Updated: 5th April 2004
